The Daily Star is once again organising ICT Awards to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary achievement in the field of information and communication technology.
Objectives
- Recognising the excellent works in ICT sector which will bring positive changes to our society.
- Encouraging the ICT community to strengthen ICT entrepreneurship ecosystem and creating an environment of encouraging and sustaining the entrepreneurial spirit.
- Highlighting the magnitude of capacity that exists in the country by highlighting the nominees’ ICT success stories.
- Supporting the young ICT entrepreneurs to scale up their potentials as a sustainable business model.
Nomination
ICT Solution Provider of the Year
Software and ITES Solution provider (including BPO) that has been providing customized software/ITES solutions to the local market.
Award Criteria: Last 3 years revenue.
Digital Commerce of the Year
Any .com initiative, including eCommerce, education portal, online newspapers, job portals, etc.
Award Criteria: Number of users; Value Addition; Last 3 years Revenue
ICT Startup of the Year
Any ICT Startup that is between 1-3 years old and has a fully functional product or service
Award Criteria: Last 3 years revenue; merit/value addition
ICT Business person of the Year
Any ICT Business person who has made significant contributions to the industry
Award Criteria: 10+ years contribution to the ICT Industry
ICT Woman of the Year
Any ICT Business woman who has made significant contributions to the industry
Award Criteria: 5-10 years contribution to the ICT Industry
Important Update
Candidates can apply for multiple award categories within the designated time.
Selection Process
1. All nomination must be submitted within 20th October, 2025.
2. An independent jury panel will evaluate the nominations and select the winners.
3. Awards will be given at a gala event on 29th November, 2025.
